Drafting M11

well first of all there was no friday draft since the storm knocked out the power. (mad panda) But do not think i came here to right empty handed. On saturday i did a 6-man team prize supported draft, which means that what you open you keep just the winning team splits the prize which was 9packs. That draft is what i am gonna talk about with you and some stuff i already notice about this season.

This is nothing like drafting ROE, that was fun. M11 drafting seems derogatory, all that seems to matter is who draws their bombs first. The thing is if there are no bombs then you get a real game. My deck was green/white mainly little creatures and some life gain.

the deck

White:17
Ajani's pridemate:2
Ajani's mantra:1
Armored ascension:1
Assault griffin:1
Excommunicat:2
Goldenglow moth:1
Inspired charge:1
Serra angel:1
Squardron hawk:2
Tireless missionaries:2
Veneful archon:1
Wild griffin:1

Green:6
Acidic slime:1
Autumn's veil:1
Brindle boar:2
Overwhelming stampede:1
Spined wurm:1

Artifact:1
juffernaut:1

land:17
plains:9
forest:8

the deck worked very well and the life gain was just stupid good, i had a 14/14 ajan's pridemate waltzing around and the funny part is he was enchanted by my opponent's Quag sickness and they had 6 swamps, so it actually was a 20/20. The mantra on turn 3 is actually good cause 1 life a turn can actually make the game longer.

Drafting notes:
Titans- Bombs except the green one, he kinda doesn't do enough in the limited format.
Planeswalkers: Did you draft m10? same idea.
Signiture spells: these seem god enough to be 1st picks except jace's an vess's.
Removal: there is allot of this around and most pieces are good, infact there are combat tricks in every color that can also be removal, but ice cage still sucks.
Equip: there actually is less of this this time around, and most is overpriced, only the sword of vengence is worth the time and mana.

thats about all i know for now. until next time. Draft greedy and win!!!!!
